Grame Barty founded and led his own successful software technology company specialising in web content management applications for the education, enterprise and defence markets for five years as chief executive. He is now a non-executive director of that company, provides specialist advice to early stage companies wishing to commercialise innovation and holds several board positions as a Director.
John Brennan’s career has been in the banking, telecommunications and information industries as well as in management consulting. He has worked in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa and extensively in the Asia Pacific Region. His experience includes senior line management in banking and telecommunications and the management of professional groups in the consulting industry. Currently John participates in business as an Executive Chairman, a Managing Director and in several Director positions.
Max Burlington is internationally experienced in providing financial and development structuring, and packaging advice on property and infrastructure related projects to both the Public & Private sectors. His background includes CEO of BT’s Property Trust; Chief Architect of Westfield Group and many property related projects for CSIRO, NSW Premier’s Department and Queensland Department of Treasury. A member of the International Real Estate Federation and numerous other Industry Associations.
Steve Demetriou has proven himself in senior executive roles, drawn from line experience locally and overseas. He has developed a multifunctional skill base, experienced in technical, financial and sales aspects of business, applicable to large, complex organizations and small, start-up operations. Currently Steve is Chairman of a communications technology research and design company and a regional communications company.
Max Gosling has spent his career in the global marketing communications industry, and has been CEO/Chairman of numerous multinational organisations. He has an excellent track record in setting clear measurable goals and using motivational techniques to ensure these are met. He is currently using his skills and experience to assist a variety of industries and charities.
Brian Langton is a government relations consultant and a board member of several organisations. Brian has had a long career in local and state government in NSW, holding two ministerial portfolios: Minister for Emergency Services & Fair Trading and Minister for Transport & Tourism.
David Lawler’s skills lie in the provision of and advice on the design, structure and operation of systems of internal control; an increasingly key area in successfully delivering growth and project management. Until recently, he was Chief Auditor of Commonwealth Bank, and prior to that, Divisional Financial Controller providing financial and management information on institutional and client segments of the Bank. He now consults to leading organisations providing guidance not only on internal control, but also budgeting and planning; funding; cost/benefit analysis and benefit realisation.
Hugh Macfarlane is a managing partner with a strategy consultancy that helps leaders and aspirants to grow by optimally selecting, understanding and serving business markets. Hugh has over 18 years marketing experience in the IT sector, previously running a business group in Asia for a multi-national computer company. He has proven expertise in identifying profit opportunities in new markets, developing sales engagement models and channel and alliance development.
Dierdre Mason is a Chief Executive and is a corporate advisor to several public and private organisations. Deirdre has a number of years experience in the telecommunications sector, having held senior executive positions at Telstra, including Director of Corporate Affairs and Director of Corporate Marketing.
John
Petty is a unique blend of business leader, academic and author.
Having begun his career at CSR, ending up as CFO, he started what
became an award winning 'small business' that became a global
leader. He now lectures at Sydney UTS as well as being a keynote
speaker at many international business conferences, and still has a
passion to help the 'next generation' of business leaders learn from
his experiences. John Randall is an independent director and company advisor who has held the Chief Executive position for several major health sector companies, covering pharmaceuticals, hospitals and insurance. John is a chartered accountant with 30 years experience in business and has international experience including board experience with overseas companies.
John Riedl has extensive management experience at chief executive officer and board level. His experience ranges from management of high-technology companies, a venture capital company and a publicly listed company. John also has experience in merger, acquisition and sale of companies and extensive board experience in public and private companies. John is currently engaged in family businesses and various non-executive director positions.
Ron Rowland AM was the Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director of a major Australian pharmaceutical distributor for 22 years. Prior to that, Mr Rowland was Chief Executive Officer of several regional food supply & distribution companies. Ron has received awards recognising his success as a CEO, his contribution to industry and also the Order of Australia for services to the pharmaceutical industry and the community.
Diana Ryall is nationally recognised in the IT sector and a well known mentor for women in business, particularly for young women seeking to establish a role in the competitive IT industry. Active in the current employment debate on the issue of skills shortages in the IT industry, Diana is a staunch proponent and vocal supporter of increasing the number of skilled women in the workforce. Diana recently stepped down as Managing Director of the Australian operation of a major computer company.
Mary Werick has worked Internationally in senior executive positions with Nortel, Optus and most recently as National Commercial Director of Corrs Chambers Wesgarth. It was during this period that she became particularly aware of the pressures on professional and knowledge based businesses, with their acute dependence on intellectual capital and person to person client relations. As a result. She now consults to a wide variety of major organisations to ensure that this intellectual capital is developed to maximum benefit for all concerned.
Chris
Wilkinson has extensive international experience in the computer
and telecommunications industries. He has held senior management
positions, including CEO, for many years, and has been a board
director of wholly owned subsidiaries and a joint venture company.
At Telstra for ten years, Chris held Managing Director positions in
substantial portfolio areas, driving change to achieve key goals. |
